With 10+ years experience in Web design and development, I'm now working as an independent Web designer in Shanghai, China. I truly love the profession and am willing to devote myself to it for the rest of my life.
This personal site, founded in the summer of 2000 and known as heartstringz.net before 2009, was one of the most popular Web design blogs in China. Several blog posts from the site have been recommended and reprinted more than ten thousand times (like Web flowcharts Howtos). Some of the ideas and open source tools are also widespread in Web design and development communities.
Besides design, topics like music, literature, Macintosh and programming are also the things I talk about.
I shut my site down last September and reopen it in March 2012, with the new minimalistic design and English as the default language. From now on, my journey to globalization and minimalism has just started, with so much delight and determination that I have never had before.
